Welcome to Term 4

Welcome to Term 4! I hope everyone had an enjoyable two week break. Hard to believe it is term 4 already - the year has gone extremely fast! This is a short but busy term, with only nine weeks in total. Our final day of the term is Friday the 14th of December.

A big focus of this term is practising for our upcoming production -  'Kaleidoscope', which will be held at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Learning Commitment Goals need to be completed this term. If your child has made a PowerPoint or have a video to share, you can either email this to me (grace@georgestreet.school.nz) or put it on a USB stick and bring this to school.

Just a quick note to let you know that we are asking children to wait in or just outside the classroom after school, rather than heading off to play. If children are not collected before 3.25 we will take them to the Office where we know that they will be safe.

No Homework

There is no homework this week as it is a short week. This could be a good chance to do some work on learning commitment goals.

If your child is wanting to do some extra work at home and they have completed their learning commitment goal then they could go on Lexia, Studyladder, Give the Dog a Bone or Languagenut.
